Older Children May Present Significant Risk of Sexual Abuse if Not Monitored

TAALK Tip # 5: Nearly 40 percent of children who are abused are abused by older and larger children that they know*. If you have multiple children, monitor their interactions closely. Abuse is more likely when there is several years age difference and the older one is in a position of authority over the younger child.
